Mango-Tahini Smoothie

A refreshing, wake-up type smoothie.  Add Maca, Collogen and powdered Vitamin C to increase the nutritional value of this drink.  

Tahini is made with sesame seeds and is a great source of Zinc and boosts progesterone levels.  Progesterone is one of those important hormones that decreases with age and is usually quite low in menapausal women.  If you are allergic to sesame seeds you can use another nut butter of your choice.

Ingredients

1 cup slightly thawed frozen mango

1 Tbsp tahini

1 Tbsp fresh lime juice (save the rest to use in your water during the day)

1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut milk (I use the box form)


Directions

Put all ingredients into the blender in the order listed above.  

Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds or so.
